Originally built-in 1919 as an apartment/hotel and converted to condominiums in 1979 becoming the first condo conversion in the downtown area of Salt Lake. The Belvedere Condos resembles a high-rise Condominium that you might expect to see in New York City with it's all brick exterior. You cannot beat the location of the Belvedere being basically across the street from the new City Creek Center in a stone's throw away from everything else including the newly renovated Salt Lake Public Library building and Harmons grocery store. There are a total of 137 residential units ranging from 336-740 square feet. You can still pick up the small 336 sq ft floorplan for right about $130,000, considering the location it is a great value. Condition and amenities vary greatly within each unit as some have been completely renovated over the years while others have not. One small disadvantage to the Belvedere condos is that they offer no parking facilities so you'll have to contract with a nearby garage for parking on a monthly basis additionally most units do not have in unit laundry but there is coin-op laundry facilities on each floor.
