The Homestead is a 55 plus community of 59 detached single family homes in Riverton, built by David Weekley Homes beginning in 2023. It is located off 12600 South near the Mountain View Corridor.
Every floor plan was designed for this stage of life, with a zero-step entry and the owner's suite on the main floor. Buyers can choose a rambler or a two-story plan, and an optional finished basement adds space for guests and hobbies. Homes range from about 1,530 square feet to over 4,000 square feet with a finished basement.
One thing I really like about The Homestead: you get a real fenced back yard, and the HOA takes care of it. If you want a house and a yard without the mowing and shoveling, this community is worth a look.
